Red Hook is primarily in an industrial area experiencing transitional changes with it's trendy shops and loft style condos. I found the block style painted letters the making of a landmark for this area.

Artist Reply: Thanks Shane. Although the city thought to creatively use blocks to spell out the name of this area, this was a dull part of the waterfront,"Red Hook". I thought to give it some life I shot it in colour and than B&W the background to enhance the name.
