I wanted to experiment with using charcoal and pastels, which seemed the same to me so this is the result. Enjoy!! any suggestions or comments are welcome
A really great method of using charcoal is covering the whole paper with an even layer of charcoal then drawing out the light values (highlights) with an eraser. This is called a subtractive method. If there are darker areas you can then go in with more charcoal and add more darker areas as well. It's easy, fun, and the results are often pleasing.
