This was my hut at the Dolphin Lodge on the San Blas Islands Panama in 1999. In the second photo I am with Eleni in front of my hut. She is probably the only woman whom I am taller than. Bless her. I got my pick of the 3 huts and chose the middle one because of the yellow used in it's design. I hope you enjoy!

Interesting. The hut would make a nice painting, with some Gauguin like changes in the colors. I had no idea you were so short.david snider 10 Apr 2011

Fantastic pictures Sharon. My 5-year old great-niece especially liked looking at the top picture of the huts. She is learning about Shapes in her kindergarten class, and Iyana( that's her name), excitedly pointed out and identified the huts as having triangle-shaped roofs, and rectangle-shaped forms.Basant Soni 08 Apr 2011

Great shots Sharon, however I would not brag about being taller then her when you are that close in size. When I see the first step is a knee level for both of you it really gives perspective. Great shots.Patty Day 07 Apr 2011

Say, even way up here in Maryland we have heard stories about the fabled huts of San Blas Islands. Who would guess that under those palm fronds and bamboo there is marble, gold fixtures, Brazilian black mahogany cabinetry, and a 48" flat screen TV? WAIT a minute, Sharon. are you wearing lifts in those shoes? You are, aren't you?Nira Dabush 06 Apr 2011
