Swan

This beautiful trumpeter swan is one of the few that are at the zoo, they come and go and I think are part of a breading program the zoo is running. This swan was in trouble as it was hurt and bleeding bad, I did not know if the zoo keepers would help the swan with the fact that the swan's do come and go from the zoo grounds. We told one of the zoo keepers and she went and got about four more and they ran out to where the swan was hurt. I would have love to went out and got photos of them helping the swan but with 4 of my kids with me that was not going to happen, I do know they moved the swan to a part of the zoo where they could look her over and hopefully get her better. I truly hope the swan is ok, it makes me feel good knowing that the zoo keepers ran and I mean RAN out to help the swan. Milwaukee County Zoo.

the most beautiful and pure swan portrait I ever hope to see!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Brenda, not sure if you read that the Swan was hurt, But I heard back from the zoo and it turned out that. This one is the male swan and the female attack him, he is ok now but it was a mess to see this beautiful swan hurt the way he was.
