I am a fan of Boris Valejo too, I love his fantasy artwork and its perhaps the best in the world.
Christan Riese Lassen is an artist that I look up to as well my friend. Have you also seen the artwork of Scott Christensen from Australia? He along with Wyland are my favorite two artists.
I am honored by what you wrote my friend and if it brought you a smile, then I have succeeded with its intention.

Oceans are lovely places for artists to get inspiration too. The waves, sounds and smell of the Ozone really makes you feel peaceful..
