Trout lilies are known as a harbinger of Spring to locals and it was my first time to see them scattered along the woodland walkway in Spring Creek Preserve - Jackson Unit in Garland, Texas. I read that they only bloom for 2-3 weeks in the first part of March. Taken March 2, 2011.
