My Husband

This is a Christmas present for my husband. He has long lamented that I've never drawn him. Well, here he is. Pencil, 8X10 on Canson Bristol Smooth.

Well done and a handsome fella too. I have often found drawing some i know well more difficult. Has a nice natural feel, like your work alot. Merry Christmas.

Artist Reply: Thanks Lorna. He's one of those guys who either puts on a macho look or a goofy grin when the camera points his way. It was tough to get a candid pose/expression to work from that shows his true personality...at least I think it does. Thanks again.
