Is that yeast dough, Jerry! My you are a talented baker! I have never had sausage rolls except for the sausage in biscuit dough which I don't care for much.

Artist Reply: these are not McDonald's sausage biscuits, Julie! This is "flaky pastrie", about 30 layers with butter and lard between each layer. You can buy premade flaky pastry but it is not the same.

OMG,I have not had any of these since last in England, a friend of mine always made tons of them for parties and around Christmas,along with several big caloric plum puddings,this looks very good Jerry,makes me hungry!
