As promised for Adrian Russell- Davies - Unfortunately I do not have a botanical name but is looks similar to the wonderful lilac cactus that Adrian has in his gallery. Enjoy!

Thank you Wia! It is similar, and also beautiful. It looks like a Zygocactus, but I can't be sure - lovely nontheless :)))

Artist Reply: Thanks Adrian. No I do not think it is a Zygocactus because the stamens are different and this flower is also larger than the Christmas cactus. However I am no expert on cacti and it could well be as you suggested.
