Once Upon a Midnight Dreary

Once upon a midnight dreary...... begins the Edgar Allan Poe's 1845 poem, "The Raven." This is the piece also that began my series (of the same title) with the Hamilton Collection & Bradford Exchange. So - if this painting looks familiar, it's probably because you've seen the ads & mailers for my figurine collection, hehe. This little gothling is sitting by the light of the moon, feather quill & scroll in hand, writing her own poem as ravens fly about (no doubt cawing ominously). This is my own original acrylic painting, I debuted it at FaerieCon 2010 in Baltimore (home of course to EA Poe himself!).
