Siblings in Block Carbon Coal

Taking an old yellowed picture from 1942, of myself and my Sister, I used those minerals I first used at two in the coal fields of Illinois. Using block spread of the coal to give the illusion desired.

fantastic...

Artist Reply: Maria Anna, Carbon Coal is such a dramatic accent to any work I do. It appears to be black, but isn't. It is a dense smoke crystals, so dense it doesn't allow light to escape it. It also has body that Inks or charcoal does not have. When walking past my works, at time the spirkle move and wink. Thank you for the review. Scotty

Awesome painting!~

Artist Reply: Again Emily thank you for your comments and review. It always makes it even more rewarding to have people enjoy my work. Not wanting it to be a job (did a job for forty seven years) it being my Wow art makes it not. Scotty
