It has been years since I visited Central Oregon but I did last weekend. In 2003 there was a huge forest fire covering 140 square miles, burned forest as far as the eye could see.

I have scene sights like this in Yellowstone. It is frightening but good to see the new growth!

It's indeed a shame that such things happen, but there is always a possitive side to it. Where wood burned it recovers itself again soon. It will take a while and one will see,but animals take soon their habitat. That is the strength of nature and figurly spoken also yours Jerry. We sometimes look, but don't see how powerfull everything is.
