Maureen Grayson is a professional artist resident in London, UK. She attended Hornsey Art College and also trained for the theatre.
"My current work involves the use of paper as a painting medium. It has so many avenues yet to explore and its versatility is unlimited. I often work with crepe paper which has a wonderful 'bleed' effect on other surfaces within the composition. It also creates incredible textures which I like to build by over-layering and blending with pva and acrylic."
Also practicing as a sculptor, Maureen Grayson regularly exhibits her work in London. She has had work selected for the Society of Women Artists at the Mall Galleries from 2004 - 2007. Her most recent exhibition was at Artsdepot, North Finchley, London, as part of the Barnet Open 2008.
She was commissioned in October 2007 to produce a work for Latchways plc for their annual 'At Height' project.
