Self-taught artist, DeMich gives a particular impression to his work with oils through his spontaneous and simple style. He paints with his emotions and sentiments. DeMich expresses his world perception by the different scenarios composed of numerous visualisation of seascapes captured on the seashore. He fills his canvas with many coats of paint to create dept and rich radian colors, sometimes inspiring perfect tranquility and other times inspiring anguish or anxiety with strong wave movements. Indeed, the ocean has become his prefered milieu which influences his creativity. He starts his work with the numerous reflects caugh on the water, influenced by the color of the weather. He attemps to image his most profound emotions and his creative vision, sometimes forgetting reality. Retired since 2004, his main activity has become oil painting on canvas. He is an active member of the Affiliated Artist & Painters Association of the South Shore of greater Montreal, Canada.
