Artist Bio

Brett Thayer is an illustrator with over 10 years experience. His current area of emphasis is digital imagery, but all of his projects are greatly influenced by his training and education in the more traditional arts of design and painting. Brett's work is a unique and innovative combination of three-dimensional modeling, photography, synthetic imagery and found objects, but all of his projects have the advantage of his classically-trained artistic eye. All elements of his digital work - color, balance and perspective - have been greatly influenced by his strong foundation in design and painting.

Brett is experienced in using the tools of the digital trade, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, software designed specifically for three-dimensional art, and many other cool programs and toys. He designs for a variety of mediums (print, web, video, animation) and his past work has included everything from small spot illustrations to packaging illustrations for major pharmaceutical companies. Brett earned degrees from the University of Utah in both painting and graphic design.
