Self Portrait

I graduated Bard College, NY in 2004. I do art mostly for myself but it makes me happy when others enjoy it as well. I love playing with colors and shapes and all kind of different media . Outdoor installation is what I like most because it lacks the limitations created by the walls of a studio or by the edges of a canvas. When working outdoor I'm not working alone, weather and natural light constant changes work with me, helping most of the time or sometimes destroying my work...My studio is my playground and it's outdoors. I take my play/art making seriously, but my art is not meant to be taken seriously. Making art is important to me because it reminds me that I'm alive. Photography gives me the opportunity to visually capture life around me. I take spontaneous photos keeping the option of posing my subjects to a munimum.
