I was born in Derbyshire, England in 1967. I loved art at school. I studied hairdressing and beauty therapy at college. Then took a change of direction into catering as I lived with my parents in a pub in Derbyshire. Stayed in catering until 2005 when I decided it was time for a change, so with the support of my husband, I gave up work to concentrate on my artwork full time. I am now well established as a pet portrait artist and have been lucky enough to have many returning customers who were so pleased with their original pet portraits that they have commissioned me to do others for them. I must be doing something right!!
I won PET PAW-TRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2008. Voted for by the readers of Dogs Today magazine. I am really pleased to be awarded this title.
