BIO:
From Alberta, and largely self-taught, I have no formal training other than an occasional workshop or class.

I've worked in oil, watercolor, acrylic, pencil, charcoal, pastel, pen & ink, digital, collage and some clay sculpture. Each medium is enjoyable to me. Each has advantages and disadvantages.

My favorite subject has always been people, and seeing their Spirit shine. This is what inspires me to occasionally write poetry as well.

My art connects me to my inner self and as well as to the people, places and things that reflect life lessons and/or inspire me...which is nearly anyone or anything.

My Artist Statement:
For me, art is both a bridge and a mirror - a universal language in which people can relate to each other. It allows us what we have in common or is different. Art stirs all senses, physical and non-physical. Everyone leaves some impression on all they meet, in some way.
