Growing up in Buffalo, Wyoming, I developed an affinity for wildlife and nature. I studied Communication Art and Photography at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota. Favoring the areas of photography, design, and printmaking, I went on to combine my passion of the outdoors with my favorite mediums which developed into my current series. A combination of abstract and rustic elements make my prints on rusted metal beautiful and one of a kind pieces.
My family and I currently live and work in Billings, Montana. My artwork can be found both online in my Etsy shop and at several galleries throughout Montana.
The products I use and the methods of creating are just as important to me as the final product. The steel is made from 60% recycled steel, is made and processed right here in the USA, and is hand rusted by me. The images I use for my prints are created from photographs I've taken or drawn from inspiration.
