A bio ok here goes, its all a little random so goodluck ... but basically me = frustrated/struggling - artist/designer

Born in England, and for as long as I can remember I have been naturally creative and drawn towards anything messy.

At High School I won the Award for Art and went onto college to study Advanced GNVQ Art and Design, where I gained a distinction. I moved onto University focusing more on design, I gained the BSc Product Design and Development degree and in 2004 gained an MSc Industrial Design qualification. I then worked freelance as a graphic and product designer whilst trying to get a design job with established companies, many times i got through to a second interview but then lacked the experience these companies were after. Still I am keeping my eye open to the design industry and watching to see if any other opportunities arise.

I then went on to complete a PGCE qualification (teacher training)(With the intention to focus on designing educational toys for children) I am currently in my first year of teaching year one, I have an amazingly lovely year one class who are full of imaginative and creative ideas... Maybe one day all my teaching and designing, play and art skills will merge into something special.

In time I hope to get more of my artwork in galleries and continue developing my ideas. I would love love LOVE to make a bit of a career out of my art and design.

I appreciate work from all artists, and at a young age I quickly developed an interest in all the old paintings from the Great Masters. I love the Pre-Raphaelite pictures especially work from Waterhouse, I am always fascinated by the detail and wonder found in these images. I am curious about the magic, imagination and illusion created in Fantasy art. I am a fan of Banksy. I love the carefree and fun style of Pop-art and Comic artwork and I love how art influences design and visa versa.
