Alfio Schillaci, figurative artist of an idealized reality, its preparation draws lessons from the observation weighted by great masters of the Renaissance and the twentieth century. Of Sicilian origin, was trained at the free Master Salvatore Palumbo School of painting, moving towards a painting of figurative-naturalistic that draws inspiration from the world around him and the memories of Sicily, with a constant search for new forms and vibrant colors. His canvases depict idyllic worlds, where simple and real images evoke moving sensations, enchanting characters, horses and riders suspended in time, cooling sea beaches, sunny countryside, silent natures, and the recent memorial sites or old, all connected with the color, with whom it has an extremely sensual relationship. The artist has recently exhibited in the spaces of the gallery Augustinian Piazza del Popolo in Rome. Other exhibitions have been set up in the capital, along a time course of over two decades, including "Art and Sport" at the Vittoriano complex, in various Roman galleries, Lazio and in other national and international events, as on the occasion of the celebration hundred and fifty years of the unification of Italy. And 'this, for years, the editions of Rome Art Festival in Republic Square. His works are in Italian and foreign private collectors.
