Originally from Preston, Lancashire, I have travelled extensively and lived in many different places in the UK and abroad. I have spent the last twelve years living a stone's throw away from the beautiful Gower peninsular in Wales.
All of my paintings and drawings are inspired by nature. I've always loved animals and they are my favourite subject to draw and paint. I particularly love painting owls, hares, the moon and trees, especially twisted, gnarled and ancient trees.
I create fine detailed miniature paintings and drawings on a variety of surfaces including slate, pebbles, rocks, marble, flint, reclaimed wood, sea glass, driftwood and bamboo paper. Mediums used are graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil, gouache, watercolour and acrylic. I also make jewellery from beach finds such as sea glass.
