Clemente Picornell y Florit was born on the 2/2/1946 on the biggest Balearic island Majorca in Spain. Since his early youth he was inspired to paint and therefor he decided to study art in high school and later as a part of his military service he studied school for Fine arts in Palma de Mallorca. When he was only 19 years old he left Majorca to continue his studies on Sant Carlos the fine art school in Barcelona. After a year and half he returned back to Majorca to open a gallery called “Galeria Arabí“ in Palma de Mallorca which was often visited with such Majorca's artists as Juan Miró. Later in the early seventies he continued exposing his art in the famous galleria of Majorca “Galeria Grifescoda“. Since last 15 years he moved from the capital of the island to a little village in the heart of the island and continues in his atelier his newest paintings.

All of my paintings are a mirror of my ego, my actual emotions considering, that the process starts sometimes even in my dreams and then as it is put on the canvas evolves to the final result. My paintings are original, contemporary, modern abstract art, one of a kind with no reprints or glicees. Most of my art is created using oil paints on canvas. In the majority I create paintings of nature but sometimes it can be persons/figures or landscapes. I pay a special attention to bulls in or during bullfights.
