Geometric Art, Gnostic Knowledge and Creative Expression.
For me, geometric art is a great creative outlet. When I get tired of people, I resort to figures. It is one of the best ways to convey conceptions and ideas in painting. Geometric art, in its best expression, is pervaded with the spirit of hermetic knowledge where every figure is full of meaning. My favorite one is a turned down triangle, reflecting the concept of the feminine principle in the universe, whereas the most enigmatic number is eight, imparting the idea of eternity. It`s interesting that the combination of two zeroes geometrically makes 8: how can something in its lack be eternal? On the other hand, nothing that is present (at least what we know of) is eternal. That means zero is the only eternal thing in the universe, simply owing to the fact that it does not exist but still we are aware of its presence and, moreover, its geometric combination symbolizes eternity in gnostic knowledge.
