Patrick Dunne is a Maui based artist specializing in large-scale, expressive landscapes. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dunne was surrounded by natural and man-made beauty. After going to art school, and after many cross-country road trips, Patrick became fascinated with the relationship between man and nature. Finding beauty and inspiration in what would normally be seen as uninteresting or even ugly. As his career has continued, Dunne has continued to define the blurry line between ordinary and extraordinary. In addition to his more traditional, representative paintings, Dunne also experiments in a variety of mixed mediums, photography and graphic design. He is currently the Creative Director at Naish International, a windsurfing and kiteboarding company, creating everything from product graphics to print ads and everything in between.
