Alice Harrison’s work has been exhibited widely in galleries and universities throughout the United States and also has been shown in Europe, Mexico and New Zealand. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards. The artist’s paintings are found in many private as well as public and corporate collections. She has received several Geraldine R. Dodge grants as well as a grant from Soaring Gardens in Pennsylvania. Listed in Who’s Who in American Art and in Outstanding Arts and Designers of the 20th Century, published in England she has also co-authored and published Artists ’ Guidebook to a New Creative Life.

Her work encompasses a variety of mediums – wood sculptures as well as paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, transfers, prints, photography, encaustic, found papers and a variety of found objects-natural and man-made. In each artwork there may be one or many media combined.
