I remarried and my former/maiden name was "Janet Marston" - most of my artwork is signed under my maiden name.
Born and raised in Texas, I lived in the beautiful state of Colorado for 9 years, and now live in northwestern Nevada, close to Reno/Tahoe. A self-taught artist and writer, I have commissioned both off and on through the years. Among my diversified artistic experience, from painting on walls, sketching cartoons, animals and people, and oil painting landscapes and barns, I have also created artwork for family, friends, churches and Sunday Schools.
Creativity is my passion, whether it be sketching and painting, writing, photography or creating fiber arts. You will find a diversity of choices in my work - my love of family, nature and wildlife, all of which are God's handiwork and my inspiration!
