PhyllisAnne Pesce was born in NYC raised in Orangeburg, NY and has lived in Waterloo, SC for 8 years. Her passion for the arts began at an early age and was nurtured and encouraged by both family and teachers. PhyllisAnne pursued her passion for art, by receiving her BS degree from, Slippery Rock State University in Pennsylvania. This enabled her to pursue a career as an art educator for almost thirty years. This allowed her to inspire and nurture a love for the arts in her students. While her area of expertise is in sculpture, as a life long learner she recently discovered a passion for photography. As she has encouraged her students to explore different mediums she herself as a life long learner has diversified in the area of photography. In doing so PhyllisAnne has met with success by having several of her works published.
