I was born in Dresden, Germany. Moved to Berlin and lived there till I was 8. Immigrated to the USA (San Francisco), and lived there till I was 15, then returned to Germany (Frankfurt/Main). 1964 I moved to Nuremberg, Germany, and have lived there in a small town outside of the city since then. My father was quite creative and layed the "seed". In my US days, my cousine Delia Pacheco (also to be found here) motivated me to draw and showed me ways to do it. Other than that Im self-taught, with only my soul speaking to me, on what to put out. Painting and drawing give me an enormous joy and satisfaction. At first I only drew with pencil and charcoal. In 2002 I got brave and ventured on to watercolors. Since the beginning of October 2008 I dared to use Arcylics, 2009 I started with pastels. Im still "discovering" with each painting.

Besides painting, my biggest hobby is traveling. My most favorite place to visit is Israel. I've developed a great passion for the country, which has so much to give in nature and history!
