Than Tun ("Lip" to friends and family) is a Burmese artist whose works have been shown in Bangkok, New York City, and Boston. He was born in the village of Hlaing Bwe, Burma and currently resides in Jamaica Plain, Ma. Lip started painting at an early age and his love of art eventually led him to Attic Studios and Elsie Evans whom he studied under for three years. He specializes in watercolors and oils and uses a variety of styles and subjects. Since arriving in the US he has painted several scenes around Boston and Provincetown.
