I am a self taught artist, {college of the Internet: sites like Youtube, I draw and paint, books, and art store salesmen.} LOL! I've been drawing and painting off and on for over 20 years. I just recently got into using acrylics, before I just worked with watercolors and sketch drawings with acrylics it's a whole different world. I also so a little photography (again, self taught) mainly of children being children. Everyone says I have an eye for it. I LOVE ART. I am not afraid of bright colors, or to use them in my work. For me, by giving up a security of recognizable forms, I want my audience to become active participants in the art, letting their imagination become involved in finding meaning in the visual chaos. My goal is to invent new relationships that seem at first glance to be mistakes. Since there is no art without decision however, I want to make accidents visible in order to find synthesis where only the irreconcilable was evident. I love to paint and draw and always feel discontented when I am not able to do it for a length of time. I'm an artist on a journey to discover and grow, and with each painting I can only get better. My main focus right now is getting my art work seen and sold here in my community.
