Bob Wierdsma has been drawing since his early childhood (more than 50 years!) primarily in the field of cartooning, although he has done some painting, and has published an estimated 800-1000 cartoons mainly in several village newspapers, as well as a string of non-profits and specialty periodicals, besides drawing caricatures at church bazaars and arts and crafts events. Bob is a 1972 honours graduate of the Classical Animation program at Sheridan College located near Toronto, Ontario. Recently he was chosen to be included in the printed book of the 2007 International Christian Comics Competition which is due out October 2008 and can be pre-ordered now through Amazon.com.
