10/5/05 New website is more or less up. (Lots of stuff still to do.) And though I'm insanely slow, some of my projects are closer to done. Whee.

Eh, not so much of a bio as a disclaimer (that I doubt anyone will read but here goes.) Yes, I know the copyright splash is ugly. I planned it that way (and have a hard time believing anybody could think I meant it for any sort of aesthetic merit whatsoever.) I'd make it bigger and uglier if I could find a good way to do so. (I do want *some* of the picture to show. ^-^)

It may go w/o saying but I'll say it anyway: that stuff isn't on the originals, it's there to protect my work (such as it is.) The more goofy junk I can find to stick on a picture the happier I am. If it's not sprawled across the center that means I've done the picture for someone else and have made an attempt to be a little less obtrusive w/my splash for -them-.

Perhaps it -is- ultimately futile and I'm at least mildly contrite that it bothers some people -so- much. Believe it or not my pictures have been stolen before and if my big ol' wart of a copyright splash deters even ONE person then it's well worth it. If it becomes the focus...well, whatever works. So much the better. You're not missing a whole great lot, just the product of a passtime that makes me very happy (after I've had a few months to get used to any given pic.)
