My name is Colin McQ I live in a small village near Durham City very picturesqueI attained an arts degree, Ba Fine art, I taught art in the community and worked with people with learning problems, also old aged pensioners and kids in college I lookeded at industry and how it affected the enironment, the land scape and people within the landscape, as we can see the work that I do at the moment is very architectural in many ways the way that the figure is made and constructed like a building or a monument of some kind, the work that I had produced at university was wood and lino cut print making, in many ways the work takes the form of a print this is I feel is different to the way that a formal painting is done as to make the viewer look more in general and the way that I look at the work, the paintings will hit you in the face straight away............... enjoy
