I was born and live in the UK. I was an art student in the 1960's, but didn't continue art as a career. I took up painting again a few years ago when I took early retirement. I belong to a small local art group, encouraging beginners and more mature people to explore their artistic talents. I have had several local exhibitions and completed many commissions over the past year. I began with watercolour, but have moved more recently to acrylics as it is more versatile, and for the richness of colour giving me the opportunity to try new subjects and techniques. I have even recently built my own canvases! I hope you enjoy my paintings. I'm really only interested in painting, not photography or digital art. I currently have 12 paintings on display at a local coffee shop, hoping to sell a few!. I have lately become fascinated with Art Cards (ACEO), especially their apparent popularity on ebay. I would like to talk to anyone who has any information on producing and marketing these. All of my work is sold unframed - most people enjoy choosing their own frame, and its safer to despatch.
