My Stepmother is an Alien!!  I know that it is not the movie (1988) where the original saying came from but I just loved it.  Loved the movie too. Including the alien part where Kim Basinger experiences the different tastes and senses, and also the feelings associated with them.

I've had that feeling my entire life.  Decisions...decisions...decisions.

It reminds me of dancing the steps of life. A step forward and a step back as I learned to constantly look forward and take bigger steps forward, while the steps back became still stops.  It would look funny doing it, however it feels absolutely wonderful doing it!

There is no reason to take any steps back.  Don't you know?  Every step we take teaches us so very much and allows us to grow in so many extraordinary ways.  Just as I live my life with no regrets there are simply no reasons to take any steps back.  Should I stumble or forget my dancing moves and take a step back, I always know there is one I can take forward as well and that's the beauty of it.

I often surround myself with peaceful atmosphere when my two energy fireballs are of to sleep, and the entire home quiets down to a serene and vibratious ambiance.  I light the candles all over the home and put on Enya "A day without rain" in the background while I do my magic, whatever it may be at the time.

The sweet-smelling aromatic scent of spiced ginger pear and crisp apple candles create a hypnotic and meditative state where I DO MY DANCE.  I get self-indulged in the vast space where I truly become one with the universe.  It is a magical and superior feeling.

Many times it is a channeled space from which I am fortunate enough to embrace my gifts and offerings.  Whether it comes in a form of art, writing and even brainstorming new and fantastic ideas -- it is all for a reason that is greater then my comprehension.  I don’t focus on figuring it out, otherwise I would be colouring my already grey hair every other week to cover my roots.  I just let it happen!

Million-Dolllar Penny!

If someone ever asked you would you like me to give you 30,000 dollars right now, or I'll give you a penny now and watch it double for 30 days and you can have everything that it produces.  What would you do?

Most of us would take the 30 grand. Lets face it!  A penny does sound small and insignificant to so many of us, however it too is a coin of great value.  We pass it and even walk right over it on the street not giving it a second glance even when our eye does catch a glimpse of it. Needless to say probably very few would go out of their way to actually pick it up.

I've recently developed a deeper appreciation for one of my close friends, who chooses to go out of her way to pick up that precious penny from heaven. She is definitely a money magnet, and she finds all sorts of change that she is willing to pick up and appreciate!  I do not mind at all to stop the car at the intersection, where she pops out like a joyous jack in the box and reaches for that ever so precious coin. I watch her glowing and smiling face as she takes a fresh breath of appreciation, and I take cerebral snapshot of the moment as she thanks the universe each and every time.

The key word here is APPRECIATE!  If we could actually stop and trully think for a moment, when we are not wrapped up in self-pity, power hunger and lack of things in our life  then wed realize that those precious pennies and other change lying around in any medium sized city do probably count up to plausible millions.

It wasn't until an awakening seminar that I've truly discovered the power of the small tarnished bronze coin.  Million-dollar penny!  At the time the suggestion was given, I realized that I would choose the penny not even thinking twice about it, not knowing what the result was.  Even though the 30 grand sounded yummy!!  You can call me a silly, a risk-taker or just the ambitious type that does see the power behind the smallest and insignificant looking "possessions"

I sometimes catch myself asking what is the reason I love life so much. Without a heartbeat the answer is because of freedom and free will. Who wouldn't love their life if they had so much fun living! Waking up with a smile and a joyous outlook to greet the day is an empowering feeling. It is a choice!

Days of life are very much like the weather, very unpredictable. Since we are made of energy, the environment and star alignment does affect the way we feel and respond to conditions around us. Remaining positive and smiling when things appear heavy, will make them vanish before they have a chance to further manifest. After all, it is not every day the sun shines. There are the days of thunder and down pouring rains to restore the balance and beauty in the environment. This is the same way the equilibrium within us is once again established and the life progresses.

Looking forward to the mornings to hear the birds chipper as they wake and the warm sun on my face is no doubt my favourite thing. It is just one way I begin my days. Even though I get the kids pulling on my hair and poking me in the eyes with their toys, I do appreciate their mere existence and sometimes even with a frown. I focus mostly on their genuine love, purity and playfulness.

Every day I perform an act of kindness. Whether it is saving a bug from the pool of my dog's water dish to donating millions, it is all equally significant. Everything matters.

Greet each day as if you were just born. That is the way I progress, learn, enjoy and live my days to the supreme.

I love life and that will live eternally!
