Kristin Gudjonsdottir was born in Reykjavik, Iceland in 1966. She graduated in 1995 with a BFA degree in sculpture and glass from California College of Arts and Crafts. Kristin gets most of her form and texture ideas from Icelandic nature and then tools that have been used by farmers and fishermen. The allegory of her work comes from her own life experience as a cancer patient. 95% of the work is made with raw recycled materials.
