7¢X48?le in magic and ritual and approach my paintings in a spirit of gratefulness and prayer. I am terribly idealistic and have an incessant inner desire to beautify the world in some way. I wish that people and nature could live in greater harmony with each other, and I believe that change starts with the individual, with spiritual cultivation. I am always in the process of cultivating and manifesting my dreams and living in greater harmony with my mind, body, spirit, society and environment.

My friend observed that when I paint, I create a "sacred magick circle" around myself. I often do so with music, incense, candles, prayer. Some of the music I listen to and feel most inspired by is the Bulgarian Women's Choir, chants, ethnic and tribal music, Dead Can Dance, the Cranes, Peter Gabriel/old Genesis, Tori Amos, Led Zeppelin, some Enya, some Cocteau Twins, some classical music.
