Primarily a self-taught artist, Maureen holds a B.A./B.Ed. in Art History, which included a summer semester in fine arts training.
She studied painting on silk under Hilary Scanlon and fell in love with the media. Maureen worked with silk for many years. She has now turned her focus to graphite drawing and water colour painting. Maureen also enjoys trying out new media such as colour pencils and pastels.
