I've loved drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. My great uncle, grandfather, and mom all painted as do my sister and nephew. My favorite thing to paint is people...whether portrait commissions or just for fun. I'm alwasy fascinated by the endless combinations of features that make people unique. I love the work of John Singer Sargeant, Norman Rockwell and Nicolai Fechin. There's a diverse group if there ever was one. As for contemporary artists, I'm a fan of Kim English, Peggi Kroll Roberts, Jeffrey Hein, Mick McGinty and Karin Jurick.
