I think it an Artist dream to have their work become recognized and admired. The compliments on my art work by my peers and fellow artists is an ego booster and inspiring for me. Art affects almost every facet of my life, and I feel that after I am gone from this life, my light will continue to shine in my art.
I was born and raised in the New River Valley, near Radford, Virginia. We were raised in the Appalachian Mountains where indoor plumbing did not become a reality in our home until after I had started High School. I have 3 lovely daughters, of whom I am very proud and love very much. I am a retired Machinist by trade, and a retired Tattoo Artist for over 20 years. The Fine Art and Photography are done mostly as a hobby. I am basically a laid back dude , never do anything in a hurry, and it usually takes a lot to rattle my cage . I also enjoy playing with computers, figuring out new gadgets, and long country rides on my Harley. I will always take time to watch a good Sci-fi or Action/Adventure movie.

I like the softness of pastels and like to add hard lines in my art to enhance character and detail that I can not get with the pastels. I usually do my paintings from my photography. I would like to be more creative and would love to be able to paint from my own mind rather than a photo. I hope to accomplish this one day.
