I've been drawing as long as I can remember. I was horse crazy when I was young so mainly drew horses for a very long time. I'm a self taught artist and other than high school doing independent study of art, I never took a formal art class. I took a break from drawing and painting for several years, then got back into it when I was introduced to Border Collies and I've been at it ever since. I love drawing and painting animals, but also love fantasy and enjoy doing occasional people portraits. I work primarily with water color, acrylic, acrylic ink and pencil. I enjoy the occasional colored pencil or scratchboard also. I live with my hubby, two teenage sons and six Border Collies. My other passions (besides art) are Border Collies (and other herding breeds) and herding trials! Anyway, I'm happy if I can make others happy through my art.
