I went back to college at the age of 33 to study art properly, and it was great. I sit and watch and think. I photograph and sketch, strike up a conversation with people, make new friends sometimes. I hear all sides of every story, I know the dialogue, see the settings, can guess the outcome. I understand the power of words. I am cognisant of the healing power of music and song.
