BENJAMIN RIVIERE-NAZARENO FIGURATIVE NUDE ARTIST

I was born in Bas-Rhin, Strasbourg, France in 1978. Institute of Fine Arts and Design in the Philippine Womens University was my first step towards artistic profession. In which I have achieved recognitions and awards for my artworks. Finished from the Academy in 1998 and started my artistic career with exhibiting my works in the Philippines and France as well.

During my years as an Advertising Art Director, I found art as a passion for love. Not just only for a career but a form of devotion and sincerity to it. I left the Philippines to commit myself in this area of profession. Paris gave me a warm welcome for my arts in which I have showcased some of my works.

I came to England on 2003 and started doing portrait commissions and graphics designing as my freelance basis. While pursuing to do some of my figurative works which I love most.

For the last 12 years, I have created artworks in just about every conceivable medium from acrylic to oil, from pastel to inks. As an artist, I find the human body to be the most beautiful form of art. Without uttering a sound, it speaks volumes beyond the capabilities of the spoken word. I have always been mesmerized by the human form, my works concentrates on the nude. My interest is focused in the different aspects of the human relationship, the feelings, the emotions, love and pain.

I work mainly in oil on canvas, considering this technique to be most sophisticated in terms of color and texture of paint. My canvases are explorations of colors and composition. The themes that I mostly drawn to my paintings are figurative nudes with elements of emotions and striking colors on it.

My artworks is proudly displayed in galleries, corporate offices and the residences of private collectors from South East Asia to Europe.
