Hi, there!

Thanks for visiting my online portfolio!

Feel free to stop by my official site www.icansketchu.com.

I'm a freelance artist who's spent a lifetime studying and observing people and the world we live in. After having drawn portraits and paintings for friends and family for years--and having the little ones grow more independent--I have had the opportunity to go back to work full-time doing freelance work.

My formal training began at Jefferson Community College in upstate New York. Graduating with an AAS, I then went on to Columbus State University in Georgia with a concentration in Fine Arts.

In 2007, I was chosen to be featured on ABC's Extreme Makeover. Having the show air internationally was a huge impact on my artwork as a whole and the direction I was headed in became more focused. Now, after doing freelance illustrations for several magazines and doing portraiture work professionally, I find myself doing what I've always wanted--creating personalized art full-time.

I've recently launched a new website: Fine Art Creations: Fine Art Creations by Kerra Lindsey Where unique and whimsical t-shirts, mugs, cards and stamps can be found!

Feel free to stop by my Professional Greeting Card Site: Kerra Lindsey: Greeting Cards All of the cards can be personalized with your own message. If you have something specific in mind, just email me and I'll have it for you right away. :)

I was fortunate enough to be published this year in two of Artwanted.com's calendars--Love and Longing charcoal painting and Brilliant Green Tree Frog were top winners in Artwanted.com's contests. Feel free to check them out--they're great calendars with beautiful and unique designs. A great conversation piece for your desk!

I am a member of the The Internet Art Database , North Carolina Watercolor Society, Fayetteville Council of Arts, redbubble.com, fineartamerica.com, art123.com, greetingcarduniverse.com, Moore County Arts Councile Moore County Arts Council , facebook.com, myspace.com, etsy.com, cafepress.com, artonthenet.com, galleryonthe.net, zazzle.com, and have had a featured article in Britain's Lifestyle magazine February 2007.

Thank you to all who have commissioned, purchased and licensed my art-you inspire me to keep creating!

Feel free to email me at: kerra@icansketchu.com

I hope your day goes GREAT! -(smiling) Kerra
