I'm from Livingston, Tennessee; born and raised. I've always loved to draw and paint. I take some big breaks sometimes, but it always seems like every time I draw something I get better and better at it. I love seeing the faces and see the reactions of people when I deliver their hand drawn pencil drawing of their favorite photo. I spend my time trying to put as much detail into them as I can. As long as I can see the photo good. The more clear the pic, the more detail I can put in. I can draw what I see! I grew up on a farm, just outside of this small town on Highland Mountain. After Highschool, I went back to school to get a diploma in Architectural, Mechanical, and Civil Drafting & Computer Aided Design & Drafting. I've always been drawn to do any thing creative! I do my drawings in my spare time. I have designed my own Website, Cards, Flyers, Car Magnets, T-shirts, Pens, and a few Maps for a FPS Video Game my daughter, my husband and I played a lot. I worked part time from home designing Ads for a local Advertising Paper. I love Photoshop! I have spent many hours there. I enjoy drawing so much. Its like being in another world. It takes me somewhere else. I am looking forward to Retirement so I can make more Art. I have recently changed jobs. I worked 23yrs in the food industry, ending the last 6 as an RGM. Being a General Manager meant a lot of long hours on my feet, stress, no sleep, bad eating habits...I had to call it quits. My legs and my back hurt, so much pain :( I finally found a sit down/desk job and I love it. I work for Averitt Express now and could not be happier with my decision to leave Pizza Hut. I did meet a lot of good people along the way that I still call my friends. I had my left leg amputated below the knee in my early twenties because of what they called a "clubbed foot". I was born with a crooked foot. They say my toes were twisted around, touching my leg. Back in the late 70's they really didn't know a lot about this, so I had several experimental surgeries as a kid, filling my foot with pins/staples to hold the bone together. It has pained me all my life. The swelling, the pain. I was diagnosed with having Osteoarthritis in my teens. The doctors told my family when I was a child, by the time I was 30, I probably wouldn't be able to walk on it. I recently tested positive for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am seeing a specialist to hopefully help with the symptoms. My art and my family are my life. Next year will be our Silver Anniversary. My husband and I have been together since highschool. He has stood by me through so much. He is my anchor, my rock, my shoulder. I couldnt imagine my life without him. Our daughter is grown up now and we're still young-ish lol. People asked me what we were going to do when our only child moves off to college, I replied we will become teenagers again. In some way, I believe we have. In our minds, our bodies not so much LOL.

That's all I have for now. I haven't ever been good at writing. I hope you enjoyed my life story. I did keep alot from you.

If you or anyone you know has a picture or a smile they want hand drawn with Graphite Pencils... Give me a photo or idea... Please give me 8-12 weeks to complete. As I said previously, I draw on my spare time. :)
