Born in Derbyshire, England in 1967. Loved art at school. Studied hairdressing and beauty therapy at college. Then took a change of direction into catering as I lived with my parents in a pub in Derbyshire. Stayed in catering until three years ago when I decided it was time for a change, so with the support of my partner, I gave up work to concentrate on my artwork full time. I am now becoming established as a pet portrait artist and have been lucky enough to have returning customers who were so pleased with their original pet portraits that they have commissioned me to do others for them. I must be doing something right!!

I have just won PET PAW-TRAIT ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2008. Voted for by the readers of Dogs Today magazine. I am really pleased to be awarded this title.
