imagination is more important than knowledge.
knowledge is limited.
imagination encircles the world.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT :
cosmology ignites, then disperses my reverence and awe across the canvas, creating celestialscapes in oils.
i work in the aggregate hybrid among abstract; idealism; representational; and photorealism - producing, hopefully, this "illusion of reality" (einstein) within my 2-D constraints.
i don't believe that one's life is predetermined, yet i feel that art is my reason-to-be . . . go figure.
fueled on by some passion to create, i continue to explore daily - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - a conduit tapping undetermined reservoirs.

ART TRAINING:
Self-taught, until age 36 when I studied 1 year full time at the Boston School of the Museum of Fine Arts. I ate up that education and discovered that I learned as much from my fellow students as I did from the instructors.
I continue my studies at the School Of Hard Knocks - Nowhere, Fast.
