Welcome! I have been painting and drawing for myself, frends and relatives for a while before I decided to "introduce myself" on this website. I have a degree in fine art, but it seems I like the illustrative end better. I have been doing Pow Wows for over 15 years, where I sell prints of my work, which are done mostly from my own photos.. They sell pretty well, and I love doing it. Lately, I have been hard at improving my technical skills and oil paint( which I have shied away from ). As the mother of 3 Blackfoot sons, and an adopted Osage, and White Mountain Apache, I feel that my heart belongs to that place which is so dear to my heart. I was fortunate to be commissioned by my city to paint an historical landmark for their refurbishing efforts of the site. I had my photo taken with my mayor by the local newspaper; and the city made a few thousand dollars on the sale of prints made from my painting. So, all is encouraging, and I am working harder than ever to improve every day; while increasing the number of pieces in my studio.There are future plans for a one-person show.
