Christy LaRoy has been on the edge of the art world practly her entire life, she comes from a family full of artists and art professors. In college she emersed herself in many art classes, and became the Ceramic Professor Aid, helping with all of the glaze making and kiln fireing. Although she has a love for all mediums she mainly focusses on pottery and small sculpture. Her style has sleek curves with many femine qualities. Many times adding glass to her ceramics to give it a strong and beautiful contrast. Only a little over a year ago she decided to push her skill to the next level and become a full time artist. And has had amazing success, displaying her work in many businesses, display homes, resturants, stores, and galleries. She received a Best in Show Ribbon at only her second street fair, and is determined to grow every year untill her work is being displayed around the world.

Although, she is determined to become a success, her mission, is to enjoy making every piece,and letting her work be a peaceful and theroputic outlet in her life, while staying at home and raising a family.
